RACE six of the Echuca Moama Cycling Club’s winter road race series saw riders venturing down to Elmore to tackle the rollers between Corop to Colbinabbin and the climb over Trewin’s Hill.

With 10 of the club’s members racing at the Victorian Country Road Championships in Harcourt, there was a smaller field of 26 riders competing for the Harry’s Handicap Trophy.

Placegetters were: Apostolos Kerasiotis (first), Simon Hall in second, and Matt Edmunds in third.

The fastest time was Dom Orso and the most determined award went to Mick Ciaveralla.

Congratulations also to the club riders who competed at the Victorian Country Road Championships. Special mention to under 19 men’s third place-getter Chase Costello, masters men three first-placed Jamie Costello, and Dave O’Brien in second.

In the master’s men six, David Trousan finished second, Ray Hamilton took second in the master’s men nine and in the master women, Trudy Stevenson took fourth.
